Beardyman comes back to Brighton and his beatboxing roots with scratch master JFB for their infamous Battlejam, a night of improvised audio visual treats.
Having since gone on to become famous for live shows and DJ sets mixed entirely from looping his own voice, Beardyman’s vocal genius stems from an unmatched beatboxing career, the only person ever to win UK Beatbox Champion two years in a row.
The Battlejam night incorporates this talent along with his later forays into sonic experimentation, allowing him and twice UK DMC Scratch Champion JFB to combine their skills to ad lib hooks using live samples from the crowd, to create entirely spontaneous mash ups. Since 2009 Battlejam have raised the bar even higher by including live audiovisuals, adding another level to the sensory excitement.
Expect the unexpected in a show where the experimenters have no more clue what to expect than the audience.
