London trio TP are tipped as avid Talking Heads disciples, emerge with a glossy debut that sounds more ’08 than ’78. Produced by Luke Smith, noted for work with Foals and The Maccabees, the album’s shimmering synth indie-pop echoes those
bands’ and their peers’ 2008-2009 releases, all tight grooves and disco basslines with falsetto harmonies (think Friendly Fires).
