If you are fortunate enough to have witnessed The Dillinger Escape Plan perform live before, then you might as well stop reading this now because coming to this show and having your mind blown again should be a no-brainer for you. If you haven’t been to a DEP show before then the intense, unpredictable, bat-shit crazy delivery of their brutal, yet beautiful, experimental mathcore should make you realise what all the fuss is about. It’s not all about the performance though – DEP have been consistently breaking ground with each release, demonstrating their unrivalled ability to effortlessly dart between genres, combining infectious melodies with mind-boggling technicality and doing things their own way. With songs from latest album One Of Us Is The Killer slotting in perfectly alongside old favourites, there hasn’t been a better time to witness DEP at the top of their game.
