One of Rough Trade’s latest and most exciting signings is a twenty two year old New Orleans singer songwriter who’s reputation for biting lyrics and impassioned performances precedes him. Purveying a mixture of old school punk, folk and blues, Benjamin Brooker’s sound sits quite nicely among such great bands as the Black Keys and The Raconteurs. Even better, Brighton will be his very first performance in the UK! So let’s give him a proper seaside welcome eh!
