Ok, we can officially stop moaning about the festive season being over now. Because January’s just dropped the best thing since Christmas right into our laps!
We’re of course talking about Cask: The Brunswick’s winter beer festival, which kicks off this weekend at one of our favourite Brighton watering holes, the Brunswick, Holland Road, Hove (BN3 1JF).
Featuring offerings from some of the best breweries in the Sussex region, including Darkstar, Longman, Burning Sky, Downlands, Brighton Bier, Gun Brewery, 360 and Goldstone, this event is tailor made for those of you with a taste for something a little different than what other bog standard boozers provide.
The event will be free entry all weekend and features live music curated by Overhead Wires and the Brunswick themselves.
Plus, no Brunswick experience would be complete without sampling some delicious soul food from resident kitchen guru’s the BarBQ Shack!
Festivities kick off at 6pm on Friday January 15 and continue all weekend until late on Monday, when any remaining ales will be available to take home for as little as £2.50 per pint.
