Vanishing Point, Patterns, Oct 31

Put down the eggs and silly string people! Because this Halloween event is all about treats, not tricks!

Headlining this rock-solid bill for all your house music needs is Rinse FM stalwart Krystal Clear (AKA Declan Lennon) who is guaranteed to get the party jumping with his fun-filled blend of house, funk and disco.

It’s been said that witnessing one of Krystal Clear’s sets is like being transported back to one of the best New York parties of the 80s and one of his most recent collaborations was with none other than Nile Rogers of Chic fame.

Also appearing on the decks will be the legend that is Justin Robertson.

A mainstay of the UK acid house scene, Justin’s latest output as Deadstock 33’s sees him building solidly upon his already sterling reputation as one of the leading professors of the balearic, house and techno scenes. Couple this with the fact he’s produced remixes for the likes of Bjork, New Order, Felix Da Houscat and Happy Mondays (to name but a few) and you can see why his reputation as a true party-starter precedes him.

And that’s not all!

Upstairs, Vanishing Point DJs Teamy and Matthew Balaam with be sidling up with Brighton’s very own Skint Records, ensuring the party doesn’t let up for a minute. Joining the Vanishing Point team will be Damian Harris (AKA Midfield General) who co-founded the Skint label back in the 90s. He’ll be joined on deck duties will be Matt King, also of Skint fame, to ensure your Halloween night sets off with an almighty BANG!

Of course, no halloween party would be complete without the obligatory raiding of the dressing up box. And with prizes being dished-out throughout the night for the best costumes, this is no time to be resting on your laurels. Get planning now to avoid the last minute rush!
