A high-ranking state official confronts three imprisoned members of a family. Their crime is never stated; their interrogator appears uninterested in extracting any confession; and there is no justification offered for their treatment. Pinter's miniature masterpiece is as powerful and relevant now as it was at its premiere, precisely because it does not judge or seek to explain. It merely presents with brutal clarity the mechanisms of power and control.

Originating from London, the 4 boys have already supported legendary artists Bowling for Soup on a UK tour, played Download festival, and released their critically acclaimed debut album Made Up Stories, named after their biggest single to date of the same name. Go Audio aren't simply a carbon copy of their influences, bringing a variety of originality to the table, most notably the laptop the boys write songs around.

"While comparisons to the White Stripes are inevitable, this boy/girl duo are certainly no copycat act, and been earning have a growing reputation for their original brand of sleazy blues-rock and their sexually charged live performances. With a drum machine behind them, American vocalist Alison ""VV"" Mosshart along with Kate Moss' new boyfriend, the British guitarist Jamie ""Hotel"" since have released 3 of the most original, energetic and refreshing albums heard in a long time, including the critically acclaimed M idnight Boom from this year. With clever, witty and interesting lyrics, it has a hard-rocking, punky bluesy edge to it that makes for many quality songs, catchy in today's polished, superficial music world."

"When you hear them say ""ooh, they don't write 'em like that anymore"", you can be sure that ""they"" haven't yet heard GRINGO STAR, an insanely catchy guitar pop quartet from Atlanta USA. It's all the footstomping singalong highlights of The Kinks, the underground garage/bar brawl feel of recent tour buddies The Black Lips, and the merest hint of those classic early '80s REM days. Already under their belt, this 8 piece band hailing band from Birmingham have support slots alongside the likes of the Zutons, Magic Numbers, The Guillemots and The Pipettes. Made up of brothers and sisters, their impeccable musicianship enables them to write catchy hooks, beautiful melodies and mad synthesizers and put it into a small pot of cute brilliance. After forming in 1996, they've been a stable of the live experimental music scene in their hometown of Birmingham, and with 6 albums released since 2003, they're also one of the busiest. with Very Special Guests.

"One of the artists ""making America cool again"", according to the NME. Jay's actually been at this for ten years (see The Reatards, Lost Sounds, Terror Visions, Angry Angles etc etc etc), but a recent profile explosion, tied in with signing to Matador Records has (deservedly) brought his blasting DIY garage punk to a whole new audience. It's all the exciting bits of late '70s New Wave - early Split Enz/SLF/The Ramones et al - delivered at a frantic rate of knots, and only rarely bothering the three minute mark. We're expecting a busy night here..."

Bright, young commanders of a brand of unique Englishness, Pete and The Pirates blend of smooth edged punk and pop produces music which is raw, joyous, melancholic, raucous and tender. The Pirates debut album Little Death has seen them leading the way in sweet indie anthems, a genre which is often attempted in the UK but rarely executed to this brilliant standard.
